Washington, D.C. Advances Speculative Ticketing Ban as Part of Broader Reforms Protecting Fans, Artists, and Venues

This week, the Washington, DC City Council passed ticketing reforms that will protect fans, artists and venues.

The following statement is attributable to Kelly Flanigan, President, Concerts, DC/ MD/ VA:

“We applaud the D.C. City Council for protecting fans and artists by banning speculative ticketing, reaffirming all in pricing, and capping concert ticket resale prices. No one should be able to scam fans by listing tickets they don’t have or by pretending to be legitimate ticket sellers.”
