Mystic Lake Amphitheater Announces Opening Night Celebration Featuring All-Minnesotan Lineup and $20 Tickets

On Saturday, June 20, Mystic Lake Amphitheater will debut in Shakopee with a $20 opening night celebration featuring a curated lineup of homegrown talent.

Setting the Stage

The event celebrates the opening of the Twin Cities Metro’s new home for summer concerts with an evening of Minnesota music, comedy and community.

Artists who will help set the stage include Motion City Soundtrack, Ber, and Rocket Club, along with a performance by the next generation of talent from School of Rock as the first act to take the amphitheater’s stage. St. Paul native and Saturday Night Live cast member Tommy Brennan will host. A headliner will be announced at a later date.

The festivities will run from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m., with a portion of proceeds benefiting The Salt Cure Restaurant Recovery Fund, supporting Minnesota’s restaurant workers and businesses. Pre-sale begins on Thursday, May 7, at 10:00 a.m., followed by the general on-sale Friday, May 8, at 10:00 a.m.

2026 Season at Mystic Lake Amphitheater

Following the opening celebration, Mystic Lake Amphitheater will launch its first season with more than 35 concerts spanning rock, country, hip-hop, pop, and more. The venue will also host community gatherings and private events.

The first official performance takes place June 22, headlined by mgk. The lineup includes a wide range of genres and acts, including Dave Matthews Band (6/23), Bob Dylan (7/6), Lil Wayne with 2 Chainz (7/18), Hilary Duff (7/25), Chris Stapleton (7/29–30), Kesha (8/3), Guns N’ Roses (8/8), Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Festival (8/19), Mötley Crüe (8/21), Wu-Tang Clan (9/1), Iron Maiden (9/19), and Pitbull with Lil Jon (9/26), and many more.
