Comedian Laura Ramoso, best known for her live sketches and viral impressions on social media, is bringing her global sensation, THE CALM DOWN TOUR to North America.
These dates mark the third leg of a sold-out world tour that kicked off in Vancouver this January at the Just For Laughs Vancouver Festival. This spring, Ramoso brings the show to 27 cities across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Europe, with additional performances added in London, Berlin, Paris, Milan, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, and Melbourne due to overwhelming demand.
Promoted by Live Nation, the 19-city leg kicks off on Friday, September 11th, in Boston, MA, at The Wilbur. The run will make stops across the U.S. and Canada, including New York, Washington, Chicago, Montreal, Denver, Los Angeles, Seattle, and Calgary, before wrapping up in Toronto at Danforth Music Hall on Friday, November 13th.
“The characters are returning … and then I also have a bunch of new material designed specifically for live performance.” says Ramoso. “It’s a series of sketches with a narrative arc on top, and it’s the most personal show I’ve ever done. I really do talk about my life through my characters a lot more than any of my other shows.”
She has amassed over 3.5 million followers with hit characters like “German Mom,” “Italian Dad,” and “Chiara,” all of whom will feature in the new hour-long show. In 2024, she embarked on her first international tour, “Sit Up Straight,” running 60+ sold-out shows. Most recently, she opened for Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on their “Restless Leg” tour.
